A beautifully preserved temple, juxtaposed to the vivacious life of Athens. The construction of the Temple of Olympian Zeus initiated in the 6th century BC and was completed in the 2nd century AD, when it emerged as the largest and most glorious temple in Greece. Although only 15 of its original 104 Corinthian columns remain standing, you will still witness its grandeur. The broader area surrounding the temple is a significant archaeological site and due to its unique location it is the perfect spot to witness the blend of the ancient with the contemporary.
